BC MEN’S ROWING ENDOWMENT - A NEW ERA
For the very first time, since its founding in 1987, BC Men’s Rowing has an endowment.
This is a fund – raised by alumni, rowers, and parents – administered by Boston College and paying out yearly directly to the men’s team. It is a game changing investment in the future and longevity of the BC Men’s Rowing program.
Every donation to the endowment counts as a donation to Boston College
The initial goal to kickstart this endowment is $150,000
We are already more than halfway to this goal thanks to a small group of alumni
The endowment will support the men’s team coaching stipend and promote stability in the leadership of the team
As the endowment matures, fundraising efforts can shift to prioritize additional needs of the men’s team, including equipment and racing
