Aidan Bailey

Bio: Aidan comes from Amherst, NH, and studies Physics in the College of Arts and Sciences. 6-seat in the gold-medal winning 3V8+ at NERC 2018 and silver-medal winning 3V8+ at NIRC 2018. Sat bow seat in the Collegiate 8+ at HOCR 2018 that placed 7th, the best finish in program history. As President and former Treasurer, he has also been heavily involved in team operations, making sure everything goes smoothly. He is the youngest of six, the oldest of whom rowed at BC from 1999-2002.

Sophia Bicks

Bio: Sophia is an Economics major with a minor in History. She began rowing in high school with Ridgewood Crew, competing in regattas such as Youth Nationals and Canadian Henley. She joined the team as a coxswain her sophomore year at BC. In her sophomore year, she was coxswain of the Varsity 8+, finishing the season with a silver medal at the ACRA National Championship.

Bio: Hi. My name is Leo. I love studying and being an excellent student. During each of my classes, I listen eagerly, write down every single word and ask at least one smart question. Bio: Aidan Byrne is a native of Bedford, MA and attended the Rivers School. He is a sophomore accounting student in the Carroll School of Management. Aidan began rowing after transferring to Boston College from UMass Amherst during the fall of 2018. Outside of rowing, he enjoys pottery and skateboarding.

Bio: Gavin began his rowing career at Saint Johns in Shrewsbury, MA. He spent three years in the V8, which placed 4th at NSRAs, and the V4 that finished 8th at HOCR. This past spring, Gavin was in the 2V8 that won bronze at the ACRA National Championships. Additionally, he studies Finance in the Carroll School of Management. In his free time, Gavin enjoys long walks on the beach, Sunday morning rain, and Reading.

Bio: Nate is from Reno, Nevada and attended from Sage Ridge School. In high school, Nate swam for four years and was runner up at the Nevada State championship meet. He began to row at BC in the fall of his Freshman year and is currently studying Chemistry. Nate spent the entirety of his sophomore year competing in the Varsity 8+.

Bio: Henry studies philosophy and art history in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences. Before walking onto the team during his freshman year, he played football and pole vault at Loyola High School of Los Angeles. As a freshman, he sat stroke seat in the Freshman 8+ which won gold at the ACRA National Championships. As a sophomore, he sat 6 seat in the Varsity 8+ for the Head of the Charles which finished 11th. He sat stroke seat in the Varsity 8+ which won silver at ACRAs.

Bio: Justin began coxing at St. Paul’s in Concord, NH, where he won bronze at the 2018 NEIRAs in the 2V8. As a freshman at BC, Justin has coxed the Collegiate 4+ at the HOCR, the 2V8 at the Crew Classic, and the Frosh 8. Justin is a Political Science major in the college of Arts and Sciences and is considering a finance minor in the Carroll School. Thomas spent his freshman year in 6 seat of the ACRA national championship freshman 8+ and sophomore year in 6 seat of the 2nd Varsity 8+ that placed 3rd at NIRC and 3rd at ACRAs. Bio: Camille began rowing in 7th grade with Wappingers Crew where she won club bronze, silver, and gold medals at the NY State Championships. Bio: Kijun (he goes by “Key”) was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. He arrived in the United States to attend Tabor Academy in 2011, where he rowed for three years. He sat bow seat of the 2014-2015 Freshman 8+. After finishing freshman year, Key went back to Korea to serve two years in the Republic of Korea Army. He returned to the team and sat in 3 seat of the 3rd Varsity 8+, which won gold at the NERC and silver at NIRC. He is a biology major, minors in Chinese, and loves bucket hats.

Bio: Nicholas is a Junior at BC studying Economics and Political Science. He transferred from Ithaca College after his Freshman year. He has rowed for 6+ years; four years in high school at St. John's High School in Shrewsbury, MA, one year at Ithaca College, and three summers sculling with the Quinsigamond Rowing Club.During his sophomore year at BC he won Gold and Silver in the 3V events at NERCs and ECACs.

Bio: Caleb is a senior history major with an english minor. Rowed for 4 years at St. Albans School where he won gold in the 2v at the Stotesbry Cup and was a 2x Virginia State champ. Bio: Kyle began rowing as a freshman in high school with Pittsford Crew. In his first year at BC, Kyle bowed the Freshman 8+ that won gold at the ACRA National Championship, and earned a bronze the following year stroking the 2V8. In the fall of 2018, he stroked the Varsity 8+ to a program-best 7th place finish in the Collegiate 8+ at HOCR. He is a Biology major on the pre-medical track, with a minor in Management. He is currently one of the team captains.
