Bio: Aidan is the President of the team for the 2018-2019 season. He comes from Amherst, New Hampshire with four years of high school rowing experience, rowing in regattas such as Head of the Charles and Canadian Henley. He is a student in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Physics with minors in Linguistics and Chemistry. He has five older siblings, one of whom rowed at BC between 1999-2002.

Bio: Began rowing at Mercer Junior Rowing Club in Princeton, New Jersey in his junior year of high school. He also rowed for the Hun School in Princeton before coming to Boston College. Austin is currently studying Biology at BC.

Bio: Sophia is an Economics major with a minor in History. She began rowing in high school with Ridgewood Crew, competing in regattas such as Youth Nationals and Canadian Henley. She joined the team as a coxswain her sophomore year at BC. In her sophomore year, she was coxswain of the Varsity 8+, finishing the season with a silver medal at the ACRA National Championship.

Bio: Sam began rowing his freshman year at Boston College and rowed starboard for his novice year. Throughout the season he bowed the 4v8+, 1F8+, and the 1v4+. Sam is studying Management through the Carroll School.

Bio: Jake is a sophomore who started rowing at Bedford High School in NH. He won an ACRA National Championship in the Freshman 8+ event during his first year at BC. He is currently studying Psychology.

Bio: Alex began rowing at BC and is majoring in Geoscience with a minor in Economics. He spent the entirety of his sophomore year competing in the Varsity 8+. Outside of rowing, Alex enjoys running, snowboarding, and camping.

Bio: Gavin began his rowing career at Saint Johns in Shrewsbury, MA. He spent three years in the 1V8, which placed 4th at NSRAs, and the V4 that finished 8th at HOCR. This past spring, Gavin was in the 2V8 that won bronze at the ACRA National Championships. Additionally, he studies Finance in the Carroll School of Management. In his free time, Gavin is training to go pro in Fortnite.

Bio: Nate is from Reno, Nevada and attended from Sage Ridge School. In high school, Nate swam for four years and was runner up at the Nevada State championship meet. He began to row at BC in the fall of his Freshman year and is currently studying Chemistry. Nate spent the entirety of his sophomore year competing in the Varsity 8+.

Bio: Henry studies philosophy and art history in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences. Before walking onto the team during his freshman year, he played football and pole vault at Loyola High School of Los Angeles. As a freshman, he sat stroke seat in the Freshman 8+ which won gold at the ACRA National Championships. As a sophomore, he sat stroke seat in the Varsity 8+ which won silver at ACRAs.

Bio: Rio was born and raised in Beijing China. He arrived in the United States to attend Waldorf High School of Massachusetts Bay in 2011, where he played soccer and basketball. At Boston College, Rio majors in economics and mathematics. In addition to rowing, he is also a dedicated 4Boston volunteer. In his freshman year, Rio sat 5 seat in the first freshmen eight that finished fourth at New England's. He also stroked the same boat to a second place in the petite final at ACRA. Rio spent time in the Varsity 8+ and 2V 8+ his sophomore year.

Bio: Anthony is a sophomore from Brookline, MA studying Economics. As a freshman he rowed 3 seat in the Freshman 8+ ACRA National Championship boat. In high school he rowed for Boston College High School, competing in the Head of the Charles as well as Henley Royal Regatta in England.

Bio: Thomas is a sophomore studying Finance and Accounting for Finance in the Carroll School of Management with a minor in English. He rowed competitively for 5 years in his hometown of Duxbury, MA before attending BC. Thomas spent his freshman year in 6 seat of the ACRA national championship freshman 8+ and sophomore year in 6 seat of the 2nd Varsity 8+ that placed 3rd at NIRC and 3rd at ACRAs. He is currently the team’s treasurer.

Bio: Matt is from Severna Park, Maryland, and swam competitively for twelve years. He was captain of Severna Park High School swim team. He began to row the fall of his freshman year at Boston College, and is currently a finance major in the Carroll School of Management.

Bio: Camille began rowing in 7th grade with Wappingers Crew where she won club bronze, silver, and gold medals at the NY State Championships. As a freshman on the BC team, she coxed the Freshman 8+ at HOCR and ACRAs, as well as the 3V 8+ which won a silver and a gold at NERCs and ECACs. She is studying economics in the Carroll School of Management with a second major in biology

Bio: David Smith is a Political Science major in the Morrissey School of Arts and Sciences. He began rowing in his freshman year after having ran track and cross country in high school. David enjoys cycling and long distance running when not on the water.

Bio: Kijun (he goes by “Key”) was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. He arrived in the United States to attend Tabor Academy in Marion, MA in 2013, where he rowed for three years. He was bow seat of the 2014-2015 Freshman 8+. As soon as he finished freshman year, he went back to Korea to serve two years in the Republic of Korea Army. Two years later in his sophomore year, Key returned to the team and sat in 3 seat of the 3rd Varsity 8+ which won gold at the NERC and silver at NIRC. He is a biology major and minors in Chinese.

Bio: Kyle began rowing as a freshman in high school with Pittsford Crew, where he won two club gold medals at NY State Championships in the lightweight 8+. In his freshman year at BC, Kyle sat bow seat in the Freshman 8+ that won gold at the ACRA National Championship, and earned a bronze the following year stroking the 2V8. He is a biology major on the pre-medical track, with a minor in Film Studies.
