The 2000 meter course on the Charles is located in the Charles River Basin.

The starting line is near the Longfellow Bridge, and the course runs west, heading under the Mass Ave. bridge, and ending just short of the Boston University boathouse. The Mass Ave. bridge is at the 1000 meter mark, and the MIT boathouse is at 1400 meters.

Directions from the Mass Pike:

Exit at the Allston/Cambridge tolls and bear right towards Cambridge. Stay straight to cross the river, then turn right onto Memorial Drive. The finish line is about 2 miles down on your right, a few hundred meters past the Hyatt Hotel.
